Description

Formula A replenishes the Essence (“Jing”) and Marrow. It nourishes the bone marrow to support stem cell production for blood cell and immune cell regeneration as well as other organs such as the brain neurons, bone tissue damage repair and regeneration.

1. Aplastic Anemia and Decreased Bone Marrow Activity

Aplastic anemia is a rare but serious blood disorder that occurs when the body's bone marrow can't produce enough new blood cells. Bone marrow is the spongy tissue in the hollow centers of the long bones. Stem cells in the bone marrow can develop into blood cells including red blood cells, white cells, and platelets which are released to the bloodstream as needed when they are mature.

A decrease in bone marrow activity, or bone marrow suppression also know as myelosuppression, can occur due to infection by certain viruses, blood cancer, bone, chemotherapy, tumor or fibrosis crowding and bone marrow failure. Bone marrow suppression can lead to a reduction in the production of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets increasing the risk of anemia, infections, and bleeding issues. Patients may experience symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, tiring easily with exertion, shortness of breath, pale skin, lips, or nail beds, increased heart rate, headache and irritability.

Bone marrow also has Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) which can differentiate into various cell types including neurons when migrating to the injured area and repairing damaged brain neurons, osteoblasts for bone-forming, chondrocytes for maintaining cartilage, as well as other types of cells like adipocytes, muscle cells etc.1 Bone marrow suppression will also cause a decline to support other cell’s damage repair and regeneration.

The bone marrow undergoes changes with age. As people age the tissue in the bone marrow is gradually replaced by fat deposition. This results in the decline of the stem cells ability to produce blood cells to support red blood cells, the immune system, as well as the neurons, bone, muscle and other organ systems causing memory issues and other age-related functionality declines.

Formula A helps replenish the bone marrow to improve stem cell production to support the blood, neurons and other bodily tissue regeneration. Deer antler extract (DAE), an herbal ingredient in Formula A, has been shown to increase the number of Stem Cell Factor (SCF) in the bone marrow which plays a key role in hematopoiesis. DAE increases the expression level of myogenic factors. Mice treated with DAE showed prolonged swimming time, low-level LDH levels, and higher antioxidant hepatic SOD enzyme activity.2,3 DAE can also promote and regulate osteoblast proliferation and differentiation to accelerate bone formation and alleviate osteoporosis.4

Patients can experience symptom improvement with increased energy levels in 1-2 weeks. 3-6 months is recommended to help improve bone marrow and stem cell health.
