Biofilm removes blood stasis. It helps break and dissolve the microbial biofilms formed on the chamber or cavity wall of the bodily organs. Other formulas that help clear the microbiome are also required.
Microbial Biofilms are densely packed communities of microbial cells that grow on surfaces and surround themselves with secreted polymers. Inside the human body, biofilms can form inside the organ chambers or cavities such as on the stomach and digestive tract, uterus, bladder, renal pelvis, kidney calyces, sinus and nasal airway, heart chambers and other areas with s suitable surface. Biofilms are the predominant growth state of many microorganisms including bacteria and fungus such as candida. 60-80% of microbial infections in the body are caused by bacteria growing as a biofilm, instead of by planktonic (free-floating) bacteria. The biofilm allows the cells inside to become more resistant to both the body's natural antimicrobials and to antibiotics. Biofilm microorganisms can be up to a thousand times more resistant to antimicrobial stress than free-floating bacteria or fungus of the same species. Biofilms are very difficult to get rid of once they have developed. Bodily surfaces covered by biofilms can become ulcerated or necrotic over time. Patients may develop peptic ulcer, myocardial necrosis, and renal papillary necrosis which can penetrate deep into the tissue.
Biofilmin helps break and dissolve microbial biofilms. Depending on the type of microbiome, e.g., a gram negative bacterium, fungus or spirochetes, other formulas that helps clear the microbiome are also required. For chronic conditions in which ulcerated or necrotic changes have occur, formulas that help heal ulcers or tissue necrosis are also required. For example, for patients with stomach biofilm, Alpinia is also required to help heal the ulcerated tissue in the stomach. Other formulas may be required depending on the location of the condition. Patients should experience symptom improvement in 3-7 days. 10-12 weeks of treatment is required for significant improvement.
