Apro helps clear heat in the head. It helps clear inflammation and infections in the head including the sinuses, ears, and gums.
1. Acute Sinusitis, Sinus Congestion and Infections Acute sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses caused by an allergy or infection. Inflammation due to allergies can cause sinus and nasal passage congestion and the air can't pass through. Such an oxygen deprived environment allows anaerobic bacteria to proliferate causing sinus and nasal passage infections. Symptoms include facial pain and pressure, stuffy and runny nose, loss of smell, or cough. Apro helps reduce inflammation and clear nasal congestion. Patients can experience symptom improvement in 1-3 days. 1 to 2 weeks of treatment is required for significant improvement and sustained results.
2. Acute Gum and Tooth Nerve Root Inflammation and Infections Swollen, red, or bleeding gums can be caused by gum infection and inflammation. Acute tooth pain can be caused by nerve root infection and inflammation. Patients may also develop swollen bumps on the gum. Apro helps reduce inflammation and infection of the gum and nerve root and alleviate pain and swelling. Patients can experience symptom improvement in 1-3 days. 1 to 2 weeks of treatment is required for significant improvement.
If the gum or nerve root infections still persist with the use of Apro, it is recommended to apply the herbal powder of PA formula to the infected area 3 times daily. Patients can experience symptom improvement in 1-3 days. 1 to 2 weeks of treatment is required for significant improvement.
If patients still experience nerve root pain after the inflammation and infection have been cleared, Talgia is recommended to nurture the nerve root and reverse its degeneration. Patients can experience pain reduction in 1 to 3 days. 1-2 weeks of treatment is required for significant pain reduction. 6 weeks to 3 months of treatment is required if the tooth has been discolored or become loosening.
3. Acute Ear Inflammation and Infections An ear infection occurs when a bacterial or viral infection infects the ear and causes inflammation of the inner, middle, or outer ear. Infections usually occur in the middle ear, called otitis media, when the Eustachian tube that connects the middle ear to the pharynx becomes blocked with fluid and mucus. Infections are typically caused by a virus, bacterium, or coinfection with both. Otitis media typically causes symptoms of ear pain, drainage of fluid from the ear, and trouble hearing.
An inner ear infection occurs at the labyrinth which is a delicate structure deep inside the ear responsible for balance and hearing. This mostly occurs from a viral infection but can also be caused by a bacterial infection. Viruses such as influenza, herpes viruses, Epstein-Barr virus, and polio are all associated with inner ear infections. Inner ear infections typically last longer than middle or outer ear infections. The inflammation of the labyrinth can cause symptoms including dizziness, nausea, issues with balance, or hearing loss.
An outer ear infection, called otitis externa, is an infection of the outer opening of the ear and the ear canal. A common type of otitis externa is referred to as “swimmers ear.” This is because swimming, especially in water with high levels of bacteria, can lead to water left inside the ear canal which becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. An infection can also occur when the thin layer of skin that lines the ear canal is injured from intense scratching, headphones, or cotton swabs. When this skin becomes damaged and inflamed it can provide a foothold for bacteria. Symptoms of an outer ear infection include swelling, redness, pain/discomfort in the ear, discharge of pus, itching, and diminished hearing.
The recommended formula for an ear infection includes Apro, B-2, and Qi Booster. Apro helps reduce middle and inner ear inflammation and infection. B-2 helps improve the inner ear fluid quality through enhancing the lymphatic recycling function and removing phlegm damp. Qi Booster helps enhance immunity and blood supply to the upper body to enrich and enhance the blood which helps reduce the inflammatory infiltration and decrease the negative pressure in the ear. Patients can experience symptom reduction in 1 week and 2‐3 weeks is required for significant and sustained results.
For severe cases, or if patients have developed fever or the infections still persists with the use of Apro, additional formulas including Bitter, Brown, LC Balancer and Qi Booster are also required to clear pro-inflammatory cytokines, enhance the immunity, improve liver function and strengthen the kidney to help fight against the infections.
